Dealing with a roof is one thing. But what about all the paperwork that follows?
Unfortunately, installing a new roof requires much more than just putting shingles, ridge cap, or pipe jacks and vents on a roof. Insurance companies, state governments, and even mortgage companies can all have different document requirements for a new roof. Luckily, Bear Roofing Systems has you covered here, as we have extensive experience handling the paperwork for whomever requires it.
Here’s a little bit about how the insurance / claims process works:
In the event of an insurance claim, Bear Roofing Systems regularly handles the homeowner’s paperwork and advocates for their customers to make sure that our customer’s roofs are done for the price quoted to them by the insurance company.
One way we do this is by supplementing the insurance carrier’s list of repairs with a list drawn up by our in-house engineer. As such, our estimates and repair lists are as thorough as possible to make sure that a homeowner is getting the proper care. It is important to us that our customers are not being taken advantage of, or financially burdened by unusual out-of-pocket expenses, and that the home is restored to its original condition after a storm.
After the insurance company adjuster, Bear Roofing Systems, and the homeowner agree on the price, Bear Roofing handles the other documents, as well. Other types of documentation required come in the form of proof of insurance, permits, contractor waiver of liens, contracts, estimates, certificates of completion and more! Bear Roofing regularly works with the required authorities to make sure these paperwork requirements are handled quickly and easily.
And finally, we also work with paperwork due to mortgage companies. More than any other type of paperwork, mortgage company paperwork can confuse and draw out the construction process and complicate its completion. Fortunately, Bear Roofing has tons of experience in dealing with this kind of paperwork, too.
So, if you are in the middle of a project but are having trouble with the paperwork required for insurance, government, or mortgage purposes, Bear Roofing can guide you. To talk about the next steps in your roofing project, give us a call at 210-557-1451, sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or going to our contact page here and leaving a message!
